🧭 Track Back
Record a breadcrumb trail as you head out, then follow it back to where you started. It runs off the GPS in your phone, so it works with no signal at all.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap Start recording at the trailhead and pocket your phone.
2. Hike out — it quietly drops a breadcrumb every few steps.
3. Tap Stop, then Guide me back to retrace your path point by point.
A backup, not a replacement for a map and compass — GPS can drift under heavy tree cover or in canyons. On the web this pauses if you switch tabs; the phone app keeps recording and adds a live compass arrow.
